Beads can help you clam up any household item or a piece of jewelry. Beads have been used for centuries in different cultures, and now you can easily purchase them in bulk at your local craft store. With some string and hot glue you can decorate almost anything beads.
1. Beaded bottles are very easy to make as display pieces. Instead of purchasing these items from high end decorating stores you can easily make them yourself. You will need twine and mosaic style beads. Wrap the bottle with twine, and hold the twin into place with hot glue. Halfway up the bottle put a few rows of mosaic beads. Next continue with with twine up the bottle. You can do this with different colored tiles and different sized bottles. You can even add scented oil inside the bottles as air fresheners.
2. Beading cans is a great way to make pencil holders, craft cars, and storage containers. Put putting small dabs of glue on these pieces and placing the beads on you will be able to cover them. If you want to use very small beads you may want to string the beads and then wrap the string in rows around the containers. For larger items like garbage bins or Tupperware only do sections of the surface in beads, and cover the other areas with ribbon.
3. Take and piece of fishing line and put 7 inches of beading down it. Cut the string and tie knots at both ends so the beads don’t fall off. Do this three more times. Tie the knotted ends on jump rings. Add a lobster claw clasp to one of your jump rings. Now you have an easy to put on and make bracelet that you can use multiple colors with for different outfits.
